SHALINI GANENDRA FINE ART ('SGFA') is an independent fine arts advisory and exhibition space, established in 1998 with the opening of its location at The Private Gallery, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. SGFA established a presence in London, in 2007.

The Gallery specialises in Asian contemporary art and design, in variety of media, with particular focus on art and design from emerging regions. Drawing upon broad expertise in the fine arts, SGFA offers a full range of services.

The Gallery is particularly committed to building artistic community and international exchange. SGFA supports artist led efforts to engage in, discuss, document and promote cross cultural art discourse through a variety of programs including the innovative Vision Culture Lectures and Residencies.

To be a truly successful and enduring presence in the history of art, no contemporary art movement can exist in geographical isolation. An artist must find a place in the global arena of collecting, criticism and commerce. SGFA is committed to aesthetic and cerebral originality and development, presenting artists who pursue these ideals.
