To be a truly successful and enduring presence in the history of art, no contemporary art movement can exist in geographical isolation. An artist must find a place in the global arena of collecting, criticism and commerce. SGFA is committed to aesthetic and cerebral originality, cultural development and curiosity, cross cultural dialogue and presenting artists who pursue these ideals.

The Gallery specialises in Asian contemporary art and design, in variety of media, with particular focus on art and design from emerging regions. SGFA is particularly committed to building artistic community and international exchange, through engagement, discussion, documentation and promotion of cross cultural art discourse through a variety of programs including the Vision Culture Lectures.
