Shalini Ganendra is actively engaged in developing recognition for outstanding regional talents through, inter alia, exhibitions, publications and cultural-exchanges. She is a strong proponent of artistic interaction, knowledge building and discourse and incorporates supporting initiatives in the Gallery programs.
Ms. Ganendra's specialty is Asian Contemporary Art with particular focus on artists from emerging regions. She is experienced at advising arts organizations and individual collectors in building, maintaining, and appraising museum quality collections. She works closely with clients to formulate thoughtful strategies for disposition of entire collections or single works of art. Her expertise extends to representing clients at auction, in the salesrooms and in private treaty sales.
She is a graduate of Trinity Hall, Cambridge University and Columbia Law School.
