SIOW YIN YOONG (b.1958 Malaysia)
Siow Yin Yoon explores the concept of recycling and creativity through papier maché sculpture. She incorporates tropical sensibilities through colour and organic shapes. The unconventional medium of her work and the thoughtful rendering of forms creates impressions and dialogues that effectively communicate her motivation.

Siow is a graduate of the National Taiwan Normal University, and has exhibited locally and internationally since 1980. Major exhibitions include
"CITARASA 2000 Malaysia Tanah AirKu" (2000), "Malaysia Towards The Millennium"(1999), "The Journey of Malaysian Art"(1998).
